NOTICE OF CENTRAL COUNT AND VOTE-BY-MAIL BALLOT PROCESSING FOR THE JUNE 2, 2026, STATEWIDE DIRECT PRIMARY ELECTION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the Contra Costa County Elections Division's secure election procedures. To ensure accuracy and efficiency when processing the ballots for the Statewide Direct Primary Election to be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, ballots will be counted using central count machines located at the office of the Contra Costa County Elections Division. The processing of vote-by-mail ballots will begin on May 5, 2026, or later. The processing will take place at the Contra Costa County Elections Division, which is located at 555 Escobar Street in Martinez, CA. Members of the public are welcome to observe the ballot handling process from start to finish including processing return envelopes, signature verification, and ballot counting.
