NOTICE is hereby given that on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 6:30 PM, the City of Ontario Planning Commission will hold public hearings in the City Hall Council Chambers located at 303 East "B" Street, Ontario, CA 91764.NOTICE is further given that a public hearing will be held for consideration of the following project for which a previously prepared and certified Environmental Impact Report (EIR) is proposed to be used:
ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN REVIEW FOR FILE NO. PDEV23-006: A hearing to consider a Development Plan to construct 2 business park buildings totaling 518,210 SF on 23.27 AC of land located at the southeast corner of Eucalyptus Avenue and Grove Avenue, within PA-1A (Business Park) land use district of the Merrill Commerce Center Specific Plan. The environmental impacts of this project were previously reviewed in conjunction with the Merrill Commerce Center Specific Plan (File No. PSP18-001), for which an Environmental Impact Report (State Clearinghouse No. 2019049079) was certified by the City Council on February 2, 2021. This application introduces no new significant environmental impacts. The proposed project is located within the Airport Influence Area of Ontario International Airport and was evaluated and found to be consistent with the policies and criteria of the Ontario International Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan. T he project site is also located within the Airport Influence area of Chino Airport and was evaluated and found to be consistent with the policies and criteria of the Chino Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan; (APNs: 1054-131-03, 1054-131-04, 1054-121-03, 1054-121-04 & 1054-121-05) submitted by Prologis L.P.
All supporting documents are available for review at the City of Ontario Planning Department, City Hall, 303 East "B" Street, Ontario, California.
The project site is not on a list compiled pursuant to Government Code section 65962.5 (CAL/EPA Hazardous Waste & Substances Sites List).
The purpose of this notice is to inform the public that the supporting information for each project, has/have been completed and are available for public review for a period of at least 10 days beginning the first date of publication which is anticipated to be May 15, 2026, and ending on May 26, 2026.
All written comments concerning the proposed projects and/or environmental documents should be directed to the Ontario Planning Department, City Hall, 303 East “B” Street, Ontario, California, 91764. Written comments must be received prior to the Planning Commission no later than 4:00 PM on May 26, 2026, so that they may be reviewed and considered with the proposed project; comments sent via email to planningdirector@ontarioca.gov will be accepted.
The decision of the Planning Commission is final unless appealed within 10 calendar days. Appeals must be filed with the Planning Department, completed on the appeal application form, and be accompanied by the appropriate fee.
Pursuant to California Government Code Section 65009, if the Planning Commission approves the project, any subsequent legal challenge to such action may be limited to raising only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this Notice or in written comments to the Planning Commission in advance of, or at, the public hearing.
