CITY OF ORANGENOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGAMENDMENT OF CITY’S MASTER FEE SCHEDULEESTABLISHING AN ANNUAL FEE AND FINES FOR THEVACANT PROPERTY REGISTRATION PROGRAMNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Orange will hold a Public Hearing at a Regular Meeting of the City Council on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. , or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the City Council Chamber, 300 E. Chapman Avenue, Orange to consider the following request:
SUBJECT: The City proposes adding fees and administrative citation fines related to the annual Vacant Property Registration Program to the City’s Master Fee Schedule, in accordance with Ordinance No. 04-26.

AVAILABILITY OF REPORTS:Copies of the proposed fees and related documents will be available for public review at least 10 days prior to the hearing at the City Clerk’s Office, 300 E. Not later than 72 hours prior to the hearing, the proposed resolution, report, and related information will be available as part of the staff report once the agenda is published on the City’s website at: https://cityoforange.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx .
ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION: The establishments of fees and fines is not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as defined in Section 15378 of the CEQA Guidelines.
FURTHER INFORMATION: All interested persons may be heard on any relevant matter relating to the proposed action by attending the public hearing in person; or by submitting written comments as set forth in the May 26, 2026, City Council agenda.
