The City of Pomona is noticing for a public hearing for a request for a Single Historic Landmark Designation to designate the property addressed as 1057 E. Mission Boulevard (McDonald’s #7) as a Local Historic Landmark. The Applicant is the City of Pomona Planning Division. The address is 1057 E. Mission Boulevard, APN: 8326-009-018. The property is within the Midtown Segment of the Pomona Corridors Specific Plan . The city case file is SHISTORIC-000110-2026. The City’s staff has determined that the project is exempt from environmental review in accordance with Section 15060 of the Guidelines which exempts actions from CEQA that would not result in either an indirect or direct impact on the environment and that do not meet the Section 15378(a) definition of a project. Section 15378(a) defines a project as one that has the potential for resulting in a physical change to the environment. No physical change to the environment is anticipated with the single historic landmark designation. Anyone desiring to comment on the environmental documentation may submit their comments in writing to the project planner listed below, no later than 5:30PM on May 18, 2026. The public hearing will take place at the regular meeting of the City Council on Monday, May 18, 2026 at 7:00 p.m., in-person at the City Council Chambers located at 505. S.
