The City of Pomona is noticing for a public hearing for a request of a Major Oak Tree Permit for the unpermitted removal of nine (9) mature Oak Trees within on-site landscaping of an industrial property. The Applicant is Ranscapes, Inc. The address is 2300 S. Reservoir Street, (APN: 8330-012-022, 8330-12-021). The property is within the Workplace District 5 (WD5) zoning district. The City case file is MAJOTP-000505-2025. The City’s staff has determined that the project is exempt from environmental review in accordance with Section 21084 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and Section 15304 (Class 4: Minor Alterations to Land) of the CEQA Guidelines in that the project consists of the removal of trees . The public hearing will take place at the regular meeting of the Planning Commission on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at 7:00 p.m., in-person at the City Council Chambers located at 505. S.
