NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
SHASTA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
 
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, County Administration Center, 1450 Court Street, Suite 263, Redding, California, on Tuesday May 5, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as may be heard, for the Board of Supervisors of the County of Shasta, State of California, to consider the qualifications of John Heath for the position of Public Works Director, which includes the duties of County Surveyor and Road Commissioner, and on the Board’s consideration of appointing John Heath to the position of Public Works Director in accordance with Streets & Highways Code § 2006(a).
 
All interested parties are encouraged and invited to submit written comments regarding the proposed action prior to the hearing or participate in the public hearing. Reasonable accommodations will be made to individuals with disabilities. To submit comments electronically, please forward them to shastacountybos@shastacounty.gov. To submit comments via U.S. Mail, please forward them to the Clerk of the Board to arrive no later than 5:00 p.m. one day prior to the meeting at the following address: Shasta County Clerk of the Board, 1450 Court Street, Suite 308B, Redding, CA 96001.
