CITY OF RICHMOND NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at the hour of 6:00 p.m., or as soon as thereafter as the matter may be heard, the Richmond City Council will conduct a public hearing in person at 440 Civic Center Plaza, and via Zoom video conference to consider the following item: INTRODUCE an ordinance for proposed zoning text amendments to Richmond Municipal Code Sections 15.04.104.020, 15.04.201.030, 15.04.201.050, and 15.04.610.020 related to Accessory Dwelling Units and Junior Accessory Dwelling Units to align with State Law (California Government Code Sections 66310 through 66342). Pursuant to Section 15282(h) of the Guidelines for the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the lead agency has determined that the proposed ADU ordinance is statutorily exempt from CEQA.
