The Board of County Commissioners, Martin County, Florida, will receive sealed bids for:
MARTIN COUNTY AIRPORT / WITHAM FIELD HOLD BAY EXTENSION
Martin County is seeking bids from licensed Contractors for the construction and extension of the Hold Bay. This project shall include, but is not limited to, milling operations of the existing holding bay, demolition of the existing electrical infrastructure, extension and reconfiguration of the holding bay geometry, paving, upgrades to the associated electrical infrastructure based on the new proposed layout, grading and drainage improvements to enhance stormwater management within the project limits, and the application of airfield pavement markings. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on March 5, 2026 at 10:00 AM at 2011 SE Airport Rd., Stuart, FL 34996. Sealed bids will be received by the Information Desk on the 1st Floor at the address above or via Euna OpenBids (DemandStar) until 2:30 PM local time, on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. The complete bid document may be downloaded from www.demandstar.com (online bidding site). Funds for this project are derived from a State of Florida Department of Transportation Public Transportation grant agreement (FPN# 453359-1-94-01 / Contract # G3A52). Therefore, the successful Contractor and its subcontractors shall comply with all federal, state and local regulations, including, but not limited to, nondiscrimination, wages, social security, workers compensation, licenses, and registration requirements.
