NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
TO: ALL RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS IN THE TOWN OF LAKE CLARKE SHORES.
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Zoning Board of Adjustments of the Town of Lake Clarke Shores, Florida, will hear a request for a variance on May 20, 2026, at 6:30 pm, or as soon as possible thereafter, at the Town Council Chambers, 1701 Barbados Road, Lake Clarke Shores, Florida, as follows:
Amy S. and Charles Poole, of Lake Clarke Shores, Florida, 33406 are requesting a 13 variance with relief from the 30 maximum length perpendicular to the shoreline for a dock as required in Section 66-170 (b) (3) (a) (2) of the Towns Code of Ordinances to allow a dock to extend 43 into the C-51 Canal on the following real property:
6410 Carambola Circle, Lake Clarke Shores, Lake Clarke North Lot 58, on file in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, in and for Palm Beach County, Florida, as recorded in Plat Book 24, Page 114.
PUBLIC NOTICE is also hereby given that the Town Council of the Town of Lake Clarke Shores, Florida, will hear the request and make a final determination on the variance on June 9, 2026, at 6:30 pm or, as soon as possible thereafter, at the Town Council Chambers, 1701 Barbados Road, Lake Clarke Shores, Florida.
Said meetings will be public meetings and you are hereby invited to attend and be heard.
Members of the public may attend the June 9, 2026, Town Council Meeting in person or virtually.
Persons wishing to view the June 9, 2026, meeting may do so live on the Towns YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/@townoflcs6709.
Persons viewing virtually that wish to comment during the June 9, 2026, meeting must attend via Zoom at the following link: https://zoom.us/j/97358607390 . You will need to download the Zoom application if joining from a cellphone or tablet.
Public comments will be made as follows:
If you attend in-person, you may comment during the public comment portions of the meeting.
If you attend via Zoom, you may comment during the public comment portions of the meeting by raising your hand or writing it in the Q&A section. Please ensure you state or write your full name and address.
If you are unable to attend, you may submit a comment by email with your full name and address no later than 3 hours preceding the meeting to: epearson@lakeclarke.org. If timely received, the comment will be read during the public comment portion of the meeting.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE AND BE ADVISED, that if any interested person desires to appeal any decision made by the Board or Town Council, with respect to any matter considered at these meetings, such interested person will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
