Notice of Public Hearing and Notice of Intent to Consider Ordinance
The Town Council of the Town of Lake Clarke Shores, Florida will conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 6:30 PM p.m. or as soon thereafter as this matter may be heard at the Lake Clarke Shores Town Hall, 1701 Barbados Road Lake Clarke Shores, Florida. The subject of the Public Hearing will be to consider the enactment of a proposed Ordinance which, if adopted, will amend the Towns Comprehensive Plan.
At the conclusion of the Public Hearing, the Town Council will meet in regular session to consider on second and final reading the adoption of the following ordinance:
ORDINANCE NO. 2026-01
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LAKE CLARKE SHORES, FLORIDA, ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO ITS COMPREHENSIVE PLAN TO AMEND THE INFRASTRUCTURE ELEMENT IN ORDER TO ADOPT A FIVE (5) YEAR UPDATE TO THE TEN (10) YEAR WATER FACILITIES SUPPLY WORK PLAN; PROVIDING FOR TRANSMITTAL TO THE STATE LAND PLANNING AGENCY; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE, A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
Members of the public may attend the meeting in the Council Chambers or virtually. The public is invited to be heard before the Town Council. The Ordinance will also be posted on the Town Hall bulletin board.

Public comments will be made as follows:
If you attend in-person, you may comment during the public comment portions of the meeting.
If you attend via Zoom, you may comment during the public comment portions of the meeting by raising your hand or writing it in the Q&A section. Please ensure you state or write your full name and address.
If you are unable to attend, you may submit a comment by email with your full name and address no later than 3 hours preceding the meeting to: epearson@lakeclarke.org. If timely received, the comment will be read during the public comment portion of the meeting.
If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Town Council with respect to any matter considered at such meeting, he/she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. (F.S. 286.0105).
