PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
CITY COUNCIL MEETING
CITY OF RIVIERA BEACH, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA
The City Council of the City of Riviera Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida will conduct a Public Hearing on June 3, 2026 at 6:00 PM, or soon thereafter, and from time to time thereafter as necessary, at the Riviera Beach Event Center located at 190 E 13th Street, Riviera Beach, FL 33404, to consider the below Ordinance:
NEW POLICE HEADQUARTERS
ORDINANCE NO. 4284
An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Riviera Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, approving a Small Scale Future Land Use Map amendment to change the land use designation from Recreation (REC) to Community Facility (CF), submitted by Core and PGAL, Inc., on behalf of the City of Riviera Beach, for the purpose of constructing a new Police Department Headquarters, generally located at 1621 West Blue Heron Boulevard and identified by Property Control Numbers 56-43-42-29-04-007-0181, 56-43-42-29-04-007-0010, and 56-43-42-29-04-008-0010 along with two (2) abandoned public rights-of-way; providing for an effective date, and for other purposes.
Interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed Ordinance.
Copies of the proposed Ordinance, and related Resolution 90-25 and background materials are available for inspection at the Development Services Department at 600 W. Blue Heron Blvd., Riviera Beach, FL, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, except holidays.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE AND BE ADVISED, that if any interested person desires to appeal any decision made by the Council with respect to any matter considered at the meetings, such interested person, at their own expense, will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (F.S. 286.015).
