NOTICE OF CHANGE OF LAND USE
LOCAL PLANNING AGENCY PUBLIC HEARING
PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE 1989 PALM BEACH COUNTY 
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
In accordance with the requirements of Chapter 163, Part II., Florida Statutes, and other authority, the Palm Beach County Local Planning Agency (LPA), known as the Planning Commission, will hold a public hearing on the proposed amendment to the Palm Beach County Comprehensive Plan in Amendment Round 26-SCA. The LPA will consider the amendment and make a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners on the adoption of the amendments to the County's adopted Comprehensive Plan by ordinance.
Place: 1st Floor Hearing Room 1W-47, Planning, Zoning and Building Department, 2300 North Jog Road, West Palm Beach, Florida 33411.
Date/Time: Friday, May 8, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and may be continued to such other time and place as necessary.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE 1989 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AS ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 89-17, AS AMENDED; AMENDINGTHE FUTURE LAND USE ATLAS (FLUA) FOR THE SITE SPECIFIC AMENDMENT BULK CANDY STORE (SCA 2026-001), MODIFYING PAGE 64 OF THE FLUA FOR APPROXIMATELY 1.28 ACRES OF LAND, GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF NORTH JOG ROAD AND WALLIS ROAD, BY CHANGING THE FUTURE LAND USE DESIGNATION FROM INDUSTRIAL (IND) TO COMMERCIAL HIGH WITH AN UNDERLYING INDUSTRIAL (CH/IND) WITH CONDITIONS;
AND AMENDING ALL ELEMENTS AS NECESSARY PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF LAWS IN CONFLICT; PROVIDING FOR INCLUSION IN THE 1989 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
