Central Mainline Corridor Expansion (CMC)
On April 17, 2026, Northern Natural Gas (Northern) filed an application with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC)
in Docket No. CP26-241-000 requesting authorization to construct and operate a 2.48-mile extension of its 20-inch-diameter Des
Moines C-line, uprate 6.83-mile of its 20-inch-diameter Des Moines C-line south loop, and modify compressor stations. Installation of
the pipeline will include aboveground appurtenant facilities (i.e., valve setting). The facilities will be constructed in 2027 in order to
meet contractual obligations to provide incremental winter firm service to Northern's customers for a November 1, 2027, in-service
date. Northern has contacted and will continue to contact landowners regarding temporary and permanent easement rights.
