GENESEE COUNTY ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID The City of Batavia is seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide services for a tree planting and maintenance program funded under NYS DEC Contract #DEC01-C02887GM-3350000. Bids will be received by the Superintendent of Maintenance in City Hall, at One Batavia City Centre, Batavia, New York on or before 10:00am local time, May 1, 2026, at which time they will be opened and read aloud in the City Council Chambers. Bid envelopes shall be marked on the outside “Contractor Services – Tree Grant Program, Bid #2026-03.” Contract award is subject to approval of City Council. The selected contractor will coordinate with the Bureau of Maintenance and administrative consultant to ensure all procurement, planting, maintenance, reporting, and compliance requirements are met. Specifications and bid requirements for said proposal may be obtained at the City of Batavia’s webpage, www.batavianewyork.com. All bids shall be submitted on forms provided by the City. Questions should be directed to Scott Allen at the Bureau of Maintenance at (585) 345-6400. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any irregularities in the bidding.
