Public hearing on wetland permit applications in Sag Harbor on March 5, 2026.

 

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING



PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Harbor Committee of the Village of Sag Harbor will hold a public hearing on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 5:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as can be heard, at the Village Municipal Building, 55 Main Street, Sag Harbor New York, or as soon thereafter as this matter may be heard, in order to consider the following applications for a Wetlands Permit pursuant to Chapter 285 (Wetlands) of the Sag Harbor Village Code:

 1.  Application of 30 Redwood Road LLC for the property located at 30 Redwood Road, Sag Harbor, SCTM # 903-1-3-20.1 seeking a wetland permit pursuant to Village Code Chapter 285 to allow for the in-place reconstruction of a 109 SF bulkhead, 6’ x 185’ floating dock, 3’ x 20’ floating docks, approximately eighteen 12” diameter piles and travel lift rails comprised of two 2’ x 44’ metal rails, two 40 linear feet of vinyl sheathing, two 2’ x 40’ wood deck/walkways and approximately forty 12” diameter piles located at the Ship Ashore Marina.




 1.  Application of Village of Sag Harbor for the property located at 6 Ferry Road, Sag Harbor, SCTM# 903-2-3-23.2 seeking a wetland permit pursuant to Village Code Chapter 285 to allow for the construction of a new boardwalk, railing and access stairway that would connect Windmill Beach and the John Steinbeck Waterfront Park boardwalk. Twelve timber benches will be installed to provide seating, and 178 SF of dune vegetation will be planted next to the proposed stairway that will provide access to the beach area.




 1.  Application of 15 Long Point LLC for the property located at 15 Long Point Road, Sag Harbor, SCTM # 903-4-1-42.1 seeking a wetland permit pursuant to Village Code Chapter 285 to allow for the construction of a new residential dock consisting of a 4 foot by 38 foot open-grate fixed pier including a 5 foot 7 inch landward stair section for upland access, a 3 foot by 18 foot aluminum ramp, leading to a 6-foot by 20-foot floating dock configured in a “T” shape.




 1.  Application of 90 Glover Street, LLC for the property located at 90 Glover Street, Sag Harbor, SCTM # 903-2-1-26.4 seeking a wetland permit pursuant to Village Code Chapter 285 to allow for the construction of a new two-story single family residence, porch, patios, detached garage, pool house, swimming pool and spa, outdoor kitchen, gravel driveways and a new I/A OWTS. Revegetation of a 50’ Non-Disturbance/Non-Fertilization buffer area is proposed.




 1.  Application of 414 Main Street Property Owner, LLC for the property located at 414 Main Street, Sag Harbor, SCTM # 903-86-4-7.1 seeking a wetland permit pursuant to Village Code Chapter 285 to allow for the construction of a residential addition, an accessory dwelling unit, installation of a swimming pool and pool shed, gravel driveway, construction of a new I/A OWTS, and installation of stormwater management infrastructure and landscaping.







 1.  Application of Adam Munder Revocable Trust for the property located at 11 Morris Cover Lane, Sag Harbor, SCTM# 903-4-3-6 seeking a wetland permit pursuant to Village Code Chapter 285 to allow for the demolition of an existing single family dwelling and the construction of a new, two-story single family dwelling, porches, patios, detached garage, detached accessory structure, arbor, gravel driveway, and a new I/A OWTS.




The public may attend this public hearing “in-person” at 55 Main Street, Sag Harbor, New York. In addition, videoconferencing will be provided for this public hearing through Zoom, as authorized by Section 103-a of the State Public Officers Law, Local Law No. 6 of 2022 of the Village of Sag Harbor, and Resolution No. 8-June 2022 of the Village of Sag Harbor. Applications, documents and records related to said public hearing shall be available for review during normal business hours at the Village Municipal Building of the Village of Sag Harbor, 55 Main Street, Sag Harbor New York. The public may also review available application, documents, and records related to this public hearing by requesting them by email at info@sagharborny.gov.

Any person wishing to be heard on said application may appear at the time of the hearing in person, by attorney or agent or via ZOOM. Please note that for those attending by ZOOM, you may virtually “raise your hand” to be heard on any public hearing matter. The host will take off your mute button and allow you to speak directly to the Board via audio and video.
