Public hearing for multiple property renovations in Sag Harbor on March 12, 2026.

 

PUBLIC NOTICE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Sag Harbor Village Board of Historical Preservation and Architectural Review will hold a public hearing on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 5:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the Sag Harbor Village Municipal Building located at 55 Main Street, Sag Harbor New York, 11963, in order to consider the following application for a Certificate of Appropriateness pursuant to Sag Harbor Village Code §300-13.3 (“Review Procedures”):

 1.  Dan Weiss & Amy Berkower / 35 Prospect LLC, for the property located at 35 Prospect Avenue, Sag Harbor, New York 11963 and identified on the Suffolk County Tax Map as parcel number 302-2-5-17.1 requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness for rear and side yard addition to an existing three bay residence, a circa 1900 contributing structure, mission-style with projecting eaves and bracketed gable ends, and 3 part door in front dormer which leads to roof of balustraded front porch, and restoration of a contributing early 20th century 2-car garage (to be storage shed).
 2.  McKenzie Milhousen, for the property located at 296 Madison Street, Sag Harbor and identified on the Suffolk County Tax Map as parcel number 903-7-2-1 for the interior renovation of an existing dwelling and add new one-story addition with walk out basement to the rear. Enclose kitchen porch and convert to conditioned mudroom with new basement for utilities, a new pool, and landscaping.
 3.  37 Shaw Road LLC, for the property located at 37 Shaw Road, Sag Harbor and identified on the Suffolk County Tax Map as parcel number 302-3-2-21.2 for the construction of a new single-family residence, accessory dwelling unit, bath cabana, stone patio, and swimming pool.

Any person wishing to be heard on said application may appear at the time and place of the hearing, in person, by attorney or agent, or may submit written comments on the same, which comments shall be delivered to the Office of the Village Clerk of the Village of Sag Harbor, at the Village Municipal Building, 55 Main Street, Sag Harbor, New York before or at the hearing. Copies of the applications may be obtained and are available for public review during normal business hours (8:30 A.M. – 4 P.M.) at the Office of the Building Department of the Village of Sag Harbor.
