NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Village of Lake Placid/Town of North Elba Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a Public Hearing on an Area Variance application by Ashish Gandhi on May 18, 2026, at 5:30 PM in the Town of North Elba Town Hall Third Floor Meeting Room, 2693 Main Street, Lake Placid, New York.
The applicant seeks an area variance of 7.5 feet at its farthest point beyond the 25-foot minimum combined side yard setback for the construction of a deck. The project site is located at 2234 Saranac Ave, Lake Placid (Tax Map Parcel # 42.141-4-8.000) and is in a Gateway Corridor Zoning District under the Village of Lake Placid/Town of North Elba Land Use Code.
The application, ZBA Case #208, is open for inspection by any interested person. All documents are available in the department’s Town Hall Office or electronically on the Town Building Department website

The hearing will be held in person and via teleconference. All interested persons are invited to join the public hearing and will be given an opportunity to be heard.
