New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Notice of Complete Application Date: 04/22/2026 Applicant: VILLAGE OF SAG HARBOR 55 MAIN ST SAG HARBOR, NY 11963-0015 Facility: WEST WATER STREET VILLAGE BULKHEAD 11 W WATER ST|Sctm # 0903-2-1-4 SAG HARBOR, NY 11963 Application ID: 1-4736-01916/00012 Permits(s) Applied for: 1 - Article 15 Title 5 Docks, Platforms & Moorings 1 Section 401 - Clean Water Act Water Quality Certification - 1 - Article 15 Title 5 Excavation & Fill in Navigable Waters 1 Article 25 Tidal Wetlands Project is located: in SOUTHAMPTON in SUFFOLK COUNTY Project Description: The applicant proposes the removal of existing mooring piles and cable system, remove existing timber access staircases; Install new floating dock, timber boardwalk landward of existing bulkhead, electric service platform landward of existing bulkhead, timber boardwalk with through-flow decking, and mooring piles. The applicant proposes the removal and replacement of 30 LF of existing bulkhead, in-place with a maximum of 18" higher than existing bulkhead and shall match previously raised adjacent bulkhead. Work is proposed within the littoral zone of the Sag Harbor Cove. The property is located at 11 West Water Street, Sag Harbor, in the Village of Sag Harbor, Suffolk County. SCTM # 0903-002-01-004. Availability of Application Documents: Filed application documents, and Department draft permits where applicable, are available for inspection during normal business hours at the address of the contact person. To ensure timely service at the time of inspection, it is recommended that an appointment be made with the contact person. State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was not performed. SEQR Lead Agency None Designated State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination The proposed activity is not subject to review in accordance with SHPA. The application type is exempt and/or the project involves the continuation of an existing operational activity.
