REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

FACILITY OPERATOR




OPERATOR FOR SOUTH STREET FACILITIES

PROPOSALS DUE: MARCH 31, 2026, 5:00 PM

The City of Glens Falls, in partnership with the Greater Glens Falls Local Development Corp, is seeking proposals from qualified individuals, teams or organizations to operate, program and manage two complementary, adjacent public facilities on South Street in downtown Glens Falls:




1)

The Events Downtown Center (ED), sometimes referred to as the Market Center; and




2)

Approximately 5000 square feet of interior space constituting the first floor of 36 Elm Street, commonly referred to as 36 Inc.







The selected entity will be expected to operate these facilities in a coordinated manner that advances the City’s Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) goals, particularly those associated with the former “Market on South Street” project described in the City’s DRI Strategic Investment Plan (available online).
