Ordinance No. 2062 is scheduled for adoption by the San Rafael City Council at its regular meeting of May 4, 2026. The City Clerk has been directed to publish this Summary pursuant to City Charter and California Government Code section 36933(c)(1). SUMMARY OF AMENDMENT TO MUNICIPAL CODE This Ordinance would amend the San Rafael Municipal Code by amending Title 9 (Health and Sanitation), Title 11 (Public Works), and Title 12 (Building Regulations) of the Municipal Code of the City Of San Rafael, by: 1) amending Sections 9.19.070(B), 9.19.280, 9.19.310, 9.19.360, 9.19.370, and 9.19.380; 2) amending Sections 11.04.020 and 11.04.030.020; and repealing Section 12.260.020; herein and adopting Findings that the Ordinance is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act Pursuant to CEQA Guideline 15061(b)(3) and supporting the amendments to the Codes.
