NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OROVILLE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Oroville PLANNING COMMISSION will hold a public hearing on the projects described below. Said hearing will be held at 6:00 pm on, or a date soon after, Thursday, May 28, 2026, in the City Council Chambers, 1735 Montgomery Street, Oroville, CA. All interested persons are invited to attend or submit comments in writing. 1. Alley Abandonment AB26-01: The applicant requests approval to abandon a public alley adjacent to Pioneer Collision Center located near 1275 Feather River Blvd. The proposed alley abandonment is intended to facilitate consolidation and improved use of the existing commercial site. 2. Tentative Parcel Map TPM26-02: The applicant proposes a Tentative Parcel Map to subdivide one existing commercial parcel into two separate lots within the MXC (Corridor Mixed-Use) zoning district. Proposed Parcel 1 would consist of approximately 32,977.76 square feet and proposed Parcel 2 would consist of approximately 41,091.24 square feet. The proposed subdivision is intended to facilitate future redevelopment of Parcel 2 with a McDonald's restaurant and drive-through facility, which is subject to separate Use Permit review. 3. Use Permit UP26-10: The applicant requests approval to allow installation of a barbed wire security fence at the existing Payless Building Supply site located at 2630 S. 7th Ave within the C-2 (Intensive Commercial) zoning district. The proposed fencing is intended to provide additional site security for the commercial property, which contains outdoor storage areas, combustible materials, equipment, and building supplies. 4. Use Permit UP26-09: The applicant proposes to operate a mobile IV hydration and wellness service. Services include IV hydration, vitamin supplementation and wellness support provided at client locations. The address 1475 Myers St will primarily be used for storing vitamins and saline fluids.
