NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING RENEWAL OF A MEDICAL HARDSHIP TEMPORARY USE PERMIT The Sumter County Planning Zoning Special Master will hold a public hearing on March 16, 2026 at 5:00 P.M at The Everglades Recreation Center 5497 Marsh Bend Trail, The Villages, FL 32163 to consider the following application: Case No: STU25-000068 Applicant: Jessica Creasman General Location: Webster area Southwest corner of SR 471 and CR 774 Legal Description: Begin at a point 210 feet South of the Northwest corner of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 18, Township 22 South, Range 23 East, from thence run South 210 feet, thence run East 630 feet, thence run North 210 feet 210 feet, thence run West 630 feet to the Point of Beginning. LESS AND EXCEPT that portion of the West 50 feet lying Easterly and within 50 feet of the Center Line of State Road 471. Requested Action: Renewal of a medical hardship temporary use permit to allow for a Mobile Home to remain on parcel T18-018 for three (3) years as a medical caregiver residence. The proposed change may be inspected by the public at the Planning and Floodplain Division, The Villages Sumter County Service Center, 7375 Powell Rd, Wildwood between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. weekdays. Interested parties are encouraged to appear at these hearings and provide comments regarding the proposed application. Those requiring assistance may call 352-689-4400. Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 286, Florida Statutes, if a person decides to appeal any action taken by an above named Board respect to any matter considered during any meeting of such Board, he or she will need a record of the proceedings and that, for such purposes, he or she may need to ensure a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record may include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based. Only those persons receiving mailed notice in accordance with the requirements of Sec 13-314 of the Sumter County Land Development Code shall be qualified as affected persons for the purpose of examining witnesses during the noted hearings. #01297199 March 9, 2026
