NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
REVOCATION OF SPECIAL USE PERMIT
 
The Sumter County Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing on April 14, 2026 at 6:00 P.M at The Everglades Recreation Center 5497 Marsh Bend Trail, The Villages, FL 32163 to consider revocation of the following approved special use permit:
 
Case No: STU25-000061
Applicant:
Sumter County based on an appeal by the Sts. Joachim and Anna Orthodox Church at 1961 CR 246S, Oxford, FL 34484
 
General Location:
Oxford area  South of CR 246S and West of N C 475
 
Legal Description:
The West 300 feet of the North 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 17, Township 18 South, Range 22 East, Sumter County, Florida. LESS road Right-of-Way as shown in deed recorded in Official Records Book 681, Page 740, Public Records of Sumter County, Florida.
 
Requested Action:
