Requested Action:
Rezoning on 257.62 acres MOL from General Agriculture Minimum Ten Acres with Conventional Housing (A10C), Rural Residential Minimum Five Acres with Conventional Housing (RR5C) and Rural Residential Minimum One Acre with Optional Housing (RR1) to Planned Unit Development (PUD) for a Conservation Subdivision.
The recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Special Master will be presented to the Board of Sumter County Commissioners at a Public Hearing on June 23, 2026 at 6:00 PM at The Gloria R. Hayward Sumter County Service Center, 215 Gloria Rowe Hayward Way, Sumterville, FL 33585.
The proposed change may be inspected by the public at the Planning and Floodplain Division, The Villages Sumter County Service Center, 7375 Powell Rd, Wildwood between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. weekdays.
