NOTICE is hereby given that there will be a public meeting held by the Jacksonville Planning Commission on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the Edward Ball Building, 1st Floor Hearing Room 1002, 214 North Hogan Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32202 and the following public hearings will be held by the City Council on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 5:00 p.m., by the Land Use and Zoning Committee on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. and by the 2nd City Council on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers in the Council Chambers, 1st floor, City Hall, 117 West Duval Street, St. James Building, Jacksonville, FL, concerning:
Ordinance No. 2026-0367
AN ORDINANCE REZONING APPROXIMATELY 14.36 ACRES LOCATED IN COUNCIL DISTRICT 12 AT 4782, 4788, 4800 AND 4906 YELLOW WATER ROAD, BETWEEN YELLOW WATER LANE AND YELLOW WATER ROAD (R.E. NO(S). 002287-0020, 002287-0060, 002287-0070 AND 002287-0080) AS DESCRIBED HEREIN, OWNED BY YELLOW WATER PINES, INC., FROM AGRICULTURE (AGR) DISTRICT TO RESIDENTIAL LOW DENSITY-50 (RLD-50) DISTRICT, AS DEFINED AND CLASSIFIED UNDER THE ZONING CODE, PURSUANT TO FUTURE LAND USE MAP SERIES (FLUMS) SMALL-SCALE AMENDMENT APPLICATION NUMBER L-6096-26C; PROVIDING A DISCLAIMER THAT THE REZONING GRANTED HEREIN SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS AN EXEMPTION FROM ANY OTHER APPLICABLE LAWS; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
