DELAWARE COUNTY LOCAL LAW NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Village of Unadilla Notice of Public Hearing PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Unadilla will hold a public hearing on April 21, 2026 at 5:30p.m. at the Unadilla Fire Department, 177 Clifton St. Unadilla, New York, to consider the adoption of a proposed Local Law entitled: “LOCAL LAW NO. ___ OF 2026 – A LOCAL LAW REGULATING THE PLANTING, MAINTENANCE, REMOVAL OF TREES, AND TREE STUMP REMOVAL WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF UNADILLA.” The proposed Local Law establishes regulations governing trees within Village streets, rights-of-way, parks, and other public places, including provisions relating to maintenance responsibilities, removal of hazardous trees, required approvals for planting and removal, and a limited stump removal assistance program. A copy of the proposed local law is available for public inspection at the office of the Village Clerk during normal business hours.
