NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Village of Unadilla 
Notice of Public Hearing

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Unadilla will hold a public hearing on April 21, 2026 at 5:30p.m. at the Unadilla Fire Department, 177 Clifton St. Unadilla, New York, to consider the adoption of a proposed Local Law entitled:

“LOCAL LAW NO. ___ OF 2026. A LOCAL LAW AMENDING CHAPTER 159 ARTICLE VII SUBSECTION 26 OF THE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF UNADILLA MOBILE HOME DISTRICT”

The Board of Trustees of the Village of Unadilla recognizes that vacant buildings and vacant mobile or manufactured homes quickly become unsightly and unsafe and have a negative effect on property values, appearance, and quality of life in their respective neighborhoods. The purpose of this chapter is to set forth an orderly procedure for identifying vacant buildings and mobile or manufactured homes, registering them, and imposing responsibilities upon owners thereof with the goal of fostering either timely rehabilitation to appropriate use and occupancy or demolition and/or removal.

A copy of the proposed local law is available for public inspection at the office of the Village Clerk during normal business hours.

All persons interested in the subject thereof will be heard at such time and place.
