Tentative Parcel Map The City of Vacaville has received an application for a Major Design Review and Tentative Parcel Map to construct a 73-unit apartment complex and a 9,600 sq. ft. retail building on a vacant 3.76-acre site located south of Orange Drive and east of Leisure Town Road (APNs 0133-150-240 and 0133-150-250). The apartment complex would consist of two and three-story buildings containing one-bedroom (36), two-bedroom (30), and three-bedroom (6) units. Proposed amenities include a 2,035 sq. ft. one-story clubhouse, outdoor pool, dog park. The retail building consists of one single-story building with seven (7) tenant spaces. The site plan would provide 121 on-site parking spaces for the apartments and 36 spaces for the retail building. Access would be provided on Orange Drive and Leisure Town Road. The project includes a request to subdivide the site to create two parcels: 2.76 acres for the apartments and 1.00 acre for the retail building. Pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Section 15162, the project impacts fall within the scope of the 2015 General Plan Final Environmental Impact Report EIR, and the 2021 Transportation Element Final Supplemental EIR, and the Addendum prepared for the 2023-2031 Housing Element.
