NOTICE OF QUASI-JUDICIAL PUBLIC HEARING
The Sumter County Planning Zoning Special Master will hold a public hearing on May 18, 2026 at 5:00 P.M at The Everglades Recreation Center 5497 Marsh Bend Trail, The Villages, FL 32162 to consider the following application:

Webster area South of CR 707 and East of CR 711
Legal Description:
The North 1/2 of the North 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 15, Township 22 South, Range 23 East, Sumter County, Subject to an easement for ingress and egress over and across the West 33.00 feet thereof.
AND
The South 1/2 of the North 1/2 of the NW 1/4 of Section 15, Township 22 South, Range 23 East, Sumter County, Florida. SUBJECT TO AND TOGETHER WITH an easement for ingress, egress and utilities over and across the West 33.00 feet thereof, TOGETHER WITH an easement for ingress egress and utilities as recorded in Official Records 1110, Page 612, as amended in Official Records 1223, Page 394, Public Records of Sumter County, Florida.
Requested Action:
Minor Special Use Permit for an exotic wildlife rescue and sanctuary.
The proposed change may be inspected by the public at the Planning and Floodplain Division, The Villages Sumter County Service Center, 7375 Powell Rd, Wildwood between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. weekdays.

Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 286, Florida Statutes, if a person decides to appeal any action taken by an above named Board respect to any matter considered during any meeting of such Board, he or she will need a record of the proceedings and that, for such purposes, he or she may need to ensure a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record may include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based.
Only those persons receiving mailed notice in accordance with the requirements of Sec 13-314 of the Sumter County Land Development Code shall be qualified as affected persons for the purpose of examining witnesses during the noted hearings.
