NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
RENEWAL OF A CONSTRUCTION TEMPORARY USE PERMIT
The Sumter County Planning Zoning Special Master will hold a public hearing on May 18, 2026 at 5:00 P.M at The Everglades Recreation Center 5497 Marsh Bend Trail, The Villages, FL 32162 to consider the following application:

Legal Description: Lot 9, Block B, WITHLACOOCHEE HEIGHTS, according to the Plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 43, of the Public Records of Sumter County, Florida. Together with an undivided interest for the purpose of ingress and egress in Lot 70, block A, and the North 150 of the East 200 feet of Block H, WITHLACOOCHEE HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION, as recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 43, of the Public Records of Sumter County, Florida, Together with, the East Five (5) feet of Lot 10, Block B, WITHLACOOCHEE HEIGHTS, according to the Plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 43, Public Records of Sumter County, Florida.
Requested Action:
Renewal of a construction temporary use permit to allow for a Recreational Vehicle (RV) to remain on parcel M18A200 for one (1) year as a temporary residence during the construction of the primary residence.
The proposed change may be inspected by the public at the Planning and Floodplain Division, The Villages Sumter County Service Center, 7375 Powell Rd, Wildwood between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. weekdays.

Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 286, Florida Statutes, if a person decides to appeal any action taken by an above named Board respect to any matter considered during any meeting of such Board, he or she will need a record of the proceedings and that, for such purposes, he or she may need to ensure a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record may include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based.
Only those persons receiving mailed notice in accordance with the requirements of Sec 13-314 of the Sumter County Land Development Code shall be qualified as affected persons for the purpose of examining witnesses during the noted hearings.
